Grief & Loss Healing Cohort Faith • Neuroscience • Emotional Restoration • Trauma Recovery The Grief & Loss Healing Cohort is an 8-week guided experience designed to support individuals navigating the emotional, neurological, and spiritual impact of loss. Whether your loss involves the death of a loved one, divorce, miscarriage, estrangement, health changes, or life transitions, this cohort provides structured support for processing grief in a healthy and restorative way. Grief affects the brain, body, and spirit. Neuroscience shows that loss activates the same pain pathways as physical injury and can shift the nervous system into survival mode. This program helps participants understand why grief feels overwhelming, why emotions come in waves, and how trauma can complicate the healing process. Through practical tools and guided reflection, participants learn how to regulate emotional responses, reduce stress activation, and gently integrate loss into their ongoing life story. Each 90-minute session includes structured teaching, group processing, and applied exercises designed to move participants from shock and emotional overwhelm toward stability and meaning. Topics include trauma responses, survivor’s guilt, identity after loss, rebuilding purpose, and moving forward without abandoning memory. Participants will gain: • Understanding of how grief impacts the brain and nervous system • Tools to regulate emotional and trauma responses • Strategies for processing guilt, anger, and unresolved emotions • Support in rebuilding identity and meaning after loss • A forward-focused healing and maintenance plan Week 7 is a guided rest and reflection week, allowing space for integration before concluding with a structured plan for continued growth. This cohort is ideal for individuals who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward while honoring what was lost.
